Under Fives Team Member
We are open to recruiting new team members to the Under Fives team.
St Andrew’s Church, Histon is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment.
All appointments are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
Essential elements required for the role.
- To journey together with children and young families on a faith adventure with Jesus
- Able to relate well to children under 5 years old and to parents and carers
- A team player
- Treats everyone with dignity and respect

Our vision for young families with under 5’s
Shine Church is an informal space to explore following Jesus. The Shine team have all found joy, purpose, healing, forgiveness, freedom, hope and love as we have found Jesus and followed him and his ways. It's a lifelong journey and we would love to share who Jesus is and explore life following him with you! Shine Church is a low key, come and have a look, no-need to join in everything time where will do a bit of playing, making, eating, drinking, chatting, singing and praying. If you are at all curious about who Jesus is, come and join us one Sunday.
When do we meet?
Once a month on the second Sunday: Confirmed dates so far for 2025: 12 January, 9 February, 9 March
