Volunteer in the Children’s Ministry
We are open to recruiting new team members to the different teams here at St Andrew’s including the SJ Club team, the Under Five’s Teams (Shine and Little Stars), to our TLG Early Intervention Coaching Team and to Churches Together Holiday Club events.
St Andrew’s Church, Histon is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment.
We follow a Safer Recruiting process. All appointments are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
Children’s Worker
Essential elements required for each role. Each role will have some additional requirements.
- To journey together with children and young people on a faith adventure
- Able to relate well to children under 11 years old
- A team player
- Treats everyone with dignity and respect
