Join us on a village pilgrimage to Ely Cathedral
Saturday 27 May, departing from Waterbeach Station car park at 9am.
The walk is approximately 12 miles, following the west bank of the River Cam through river meadows and agricultural land, with diverse wildlife to be spotted along the way. It’s an opportunity to journey together to what has been a well established place of pilgrimage since at least 673 CE. The intention is to catch a train back to Waterbeach station at the end of the walk. You can download the walk instructions following the link below. Please note that parking at the station can be booked in advance and long trousers are advised due to there being nettles along one section of the path.
