Special Services

Time to Remember

Time to Remember is our annual service held at the beginning of November in which we remember the loved ones we have lost both recently and in the past.  Every family for whom the clergy have conducted a funeral within the past year will receive an invitation to this service.  It is a simple service of hymns and readings with a quiet time for reflection and an act of remembrance.  Everyone is invited for a cup of tea and a piece of cake in the stable rooms afterwards if they wish.

Christmas

Christingle

The Christingle service is held at 5pm on Christmas Eve and is an opportunity to take part in a child friendly service featuring candles, stories and carols.

Carol Service

The service of readings (lessons) and carols is generally held on the Sunday before Christmas at 7pm.  It is candlelit and features carols, music, readings and a talk around the story of Jesus, both the events leading up to his birth as well as the nativity story itself.
